The day we got our first paycheck, we all learned a little more about being a taxpayer. We earned some money, the IRS took some of it, and each year we filed a tax return to hopefully get some of our money back. Things were fairly simple and straightforward back then.
Today, for most of us, those days of simple, straightforward taxes are gone. Our lives have become more complicated and so have our tax situations. Some of us have been employees, some of us have started our own businesses, and many of us have done both. As the years have gone by, we have all gone through many life changes along the way including marriage, children, career changes, and other challenges.
Each of these changes brings new tax complications and opportunities. What is taxable, what isn’t? What is deductible, what isn’t? Am I taking advantages of all my deductions in the best way possible? Am I missing opportunities to pay less tax? Should I structure my business or investment ventures differently? I am here to help you with these questions and to make dealing with our taxing system less painful along the way.
Please allow me to use my 30 years of experience in assisting individuals and small businesses with their taxes to help you answer whatever questions you may have regarding your taxes.
