Those who know me might describe me as a diehard Native Texan that bleeds orange. Originally from Corpus Christi, I grew up in Houston where I graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. After spending the first two years of college at Sam Houston State University, I transferred to the University of Texas at Austin where I completed my accounting degree in 1989. Since that time I have lived in Houston, Sugar Land, and Cypress.
During the last thirty years, I worked in the small business tax department of an international accounting firm and for two local accounting firms. I have spent my entire professional career working with individuals and small businesses to help them with their taxes. In January 2009, I started my own tax accounting practice focused on working with individuals and small businesses.
My passions include my family, hunting, camping, and continuing the traditions of our great country through organizations like the Boy Scouts of America. Fortunately, my family shares my passions so we do a lot of these activities together. Whether it is being with my oldest son when he got his first deer or participating in Scout activities together, the greatest times in my life are the times I spend with my family.
I hope that I can help you with your tax issues so that you can leave those worries behind and have the opportunity to pursue your passions in life.
